Dr. Barbie Phillips was raised in Sharon, OK. She graduated from Sharon-Mutual High School in 1987. Her continued education included Northwestern Oklahoma State University followed by the University of Tulsa where she was a 1992 graduate with a Major in Psychology and  Pre-Med and a Minor in Biology.

Dr. Barbie Phillips pursued a career in youth and family counseling at Youth Services of Creek County in Sapulpa, OK from 1994 to 1996. She then decided to continue her educational experience and entered Chiropractic school at Parker College of Chiropractic in Irving, TX. Upon receiving her Doctorate of Chiropractic in April 1999, Dr. BarbiePhillips decided to return to her home town area to serve the people of the community where she grew up.

Family Wellness Center was established in August 1999. Dr. Barbie Phillips takes a special interest in wellness and preventative Chiropractic care for families. She welcomes infants, children, and adults of all ages to seek greater possibilities of health through living the Chiropractic lifestyle.
