What to Expect on Your First Visit

At Family Wellness Center, we feel that it's our responsibility to make it as easy as possible to obtain chiropractic care. We want you to have the best experience possible when you visit our caring office. We hope to answer a few questions that you may have before coming to our office.

The first person you will see is Terry, our Front Office Chiropractic Assistant. She will greet you with a big smile and be there to help make your first visit very pleasant and answer any questions you may have.

Where Are We Located?

Our office is located at 1903 Main St. in Woodward, OK. We are in the same large building as Compass Sports (used to be Joe Cheaps), The Fit Life Gym,  Jim's Nutrition, and Northwest Real Estate. Enter the double doors facing north. Our office is immediately to the left.

How long will it take?

Your 1st visit will take approximately 60-90 minutes. Please come about 20 minutes before your appointment time to fill out the necessary paperwork or call our office to pick up the paperwork ahead of time to expidite your first visit. 

How much will it cost?

We always do a complementary consultation to determine if chiropractic is right for you. If you can benefit from chiropractic, and you choose to proceed, the cost will be based on the number of necessary X-rays taken and whether or not you join our Prefered Chiropractic Doctors (PCD) discount program. You may discuss fee details with our front office Chiropractic Assistant.

Do I have to have X-rays?

The doctor will determine if X-rays are needed at the time of your initial exam. Only necessary X-rays will be taken and we do not customarily X-ray children under the age of 16 years.

Will I receive an adjustment on my first visit?

Once the examination and necessary X-rays have been completed, the Doctor will need time to review the details of your condition. You will be scheduled for a follow-up appointment (Report of Findings) where the details of your examination and care recommendations will be discussed with you. Your first adjustment will take place on your second visit.
